STUDENT PORTFOLIO COMPETITION
Overview
As a visual presentation of selected projects, the interior design portfolio showcases a designer’s thought process, technical skills, and design capabilities. A thoughtful portfolio sets an interior designer apart from their peers and tells a story. An interior designer begins the process of putting together a portfolio while a student and continues to refine the content throughout his or her career.
The intent of the ASID Student Portfolio Competition is to evaluate all aspects of a student’s work: the concept for how the student thinks; the content of the work submitted; and the context of the student’s record of achievement.
The submission portal will open on December 7 and submissions will be accepted through January 18, 2017.
